碩士 / 美和技術學院 / 經營管理研究所 / 97 / The Sam internet used book transaction platform was developed with two different language version websites hosted in Taiwan and mainland China individually to simulate and study the Student`s consuming behavior. The population was those students got on the system platform. There were 500 samples drawn totally with approximately equal numbers for each division from those customers who used this system. Four hundred and eighteen online answered questionnaires were obtained. The return rate was 83.6%. After discarding 11 invalid questionnaires, the actual return rate was 81.4%.
The study and data had been elucidated and handled by SPSS statistics softwave,with t Test, ANOVA, and Regression analysis applied.
The following conclusions and suggestions are based on the results of the study.
1. The different background variation items of the student’s used book consuming behavior on internet in Taiwan and Mainland China are: Sex difference, school classification, location of the school, residential area, monthly allowable petty cash、the experience of purchasing used books from the internet in these Sam’s websites.
2. The factors influence significantly on the behavior of student’s used book consuming behavior on internet are socio-cultural difference, individual factor, and the types of internet used-book operation.
3. Nowadays, there are only a few of used book transaction websites available in the Chinese communities. Many of enthusiastic book readers are searching their books from auction website in internet. However, they are not for the sole purpose and is not convenient to acuqaire. In the other hand, many people have many used books at home, if there are available and easy-accessed used book transaction websites, it will encourage people to interchange their used books. For the reasons, it is suggested that the bookstores or e-commerce developer set up used book transaction websites.
