There are rich and abundant marine resources in Kenting National Park.It attracts millions of tourists every year, which has brought crowds of tourists to the ocean and destroying the natural environment, the beautiful and lively ocean is facing a catastrophy making it an urgent issue as how to effectively manage and protect the ocean.
The Great Barrier Reef is one of the richest, most complex and diverse ecosystems in the world. Approximately 1.9 million tourists and 4.9 million recreational visitors visit the Great Barrier Reef each year. It is committed to working in partnership with the tourism industry to ensure a healthy, well protected Reef. The (Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service) have developed management tools and processes to provide a range of tourism and other opportunities throughout the Marine Park, and to minimise the impacts of tourism activities on the marine environment so the diversity, integrity and productivity of the Reef is maintained.
This study adopts the research in the qualitative by gathering and reading about the documents, collecting the problems. Discussing the tourism how to seek the balance between the tourism development and the ecological conservation refered from the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
