碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 都市計劃學系碩博士班 / 97 / Urban tourism industry is paid attention by governments in the 21th century. Because the urban tourism playing an important role in the urban economic has high economic efficiency itself, therefore, this subject is discussed by the policy maker and the researcher.
Review the past literature, the convenience of transportation is the key factor effecting the development of urban tourism. In recent years, local administration promotes the industry by improving the network of transportation. However, the traditional measures of accessibility aren’t proper to the view the complicated network in the metropolis, such as Taipei. Space syntax is a tool that can measure the network in recent years. Comparing with others measurement, space syntax can analyze whole the network of transportation. In this research, we will use space syntax and structural equation modeling to review the affection of urban tourism by different transportation network.
Our research purposes can divide for two parts: The first is that whether space syntax would explain the location distribution of urban tourism industry; the second is to discuss the fitness to measure transportation network by space syntax: the third is to utilize structural equation modeling to discuss the relation between the transportation network and the urban tourism industry development; the forth is to review the integration of the land use plan under the industry development trending up.
According to our research, we find that transportation network can account for 14% of the urban industry. It verifies that the structure of transportation truly has quite influence regarding the development of the urban tourism industry. On the other hand, the MRT structure of network is the most effective factor(0.302) than road structure of network(0.167). Review the plan as present, the local administration has to notice the land use land whether is fit or not.
