Shanghai literary establish a relationship between literature and society in this period, and Shanghai is a terms of geographical and cultural meaning s for authors to write. Age 90 with the public growth of new urbanism and new realism, authors get rid of pioneering and intellectual young literature and explore the Shanghai culture deeply and to retain it. They show the city''s elegance, calm, vigorous and rustic charm, and painted "the history of Shanghai living fossil" with real emotion.
In this paper, I focused on urban areas of prose written results, and analysis of the reconstructions of the Shanghai Culture. To discuss the city''s description of the external landscape, the inherent spirit of exploration and analyze the writers how to describe the appearance of the bustling city of Shanghai with the decadent. In order to understand them in the Chinese and Western, old and new of culture age is how to shape the Shanghai, I attempt to explore the city of Shanghai and Shanghai''s unique culture code and why the description of Shanghai''s past, present and future significance of the culture.
In this paper, I used of cultural studies theory and Supplemented with historical and cultural materials to explore the external "space" construction and internal "the crowd" of people etc.
