The Adaptation Study of Windbreak Forest along Coastal Subsidence Areas in Yunlin, Chiayi and Tainan / 雲嘉南沿海地層下陷區木麻黃防風林分林木適應性研究

碩士 / 國立嘉義大學 / 森林暨自然資源研究所 / 97 / The study of Casuarina windbreaks stand on land subsidence in Yunlin, Chiayi and Tainan. Investigation outward appearance state and damage the investigation of tree. And then by principal component analysis and varimax, then weighted by the weights, in order to achieve the level of the value of forest health. The application of factor analysis those health-related variables have been classified into 6 factors: 1. crown indicators, 2. environment indicators, 3. soil pH value, 4. indicator of disease, 5. Indicator of flower and 6. damage of the root indicators. Then extract from factors 1~6, using axes factor extraction method to draw a conclusion to collect 3 main components. The 3 main components of crown factor, State of tree and environmental factors, the adaptability factors of Windbreak in this area.
The results of the analysis, found health of the windbreaks stand cloud points are significant differences, and it will change with the seasons. The degree is higher in summer and autumn but lower in spring and winter for forest healthy. It can be inferred the extent of forest adaptability will change with the seasons.
For subsidence land on the stand, the relevant units should be raising and prevention work, to postpone the recession Casuarina windbreaks stand. It actively engaged in afforestation and stand improvement. Part of long-term plan should be implemented is the feasibility of afforestation, or even the use of planting salt-tolerant and flood-resistant species, not only can reduce the impact of the environment, for biological diversity also has great benefit. It will be continuous windbreaks stands in Yunlin, Chiayi and Tainan.
