Expansion Planning of a Shipyard Eiectric Power System / 船廠電力系統之擴充規劃

碩士 / 國立高雄海洋科技大學 / 輪機工程研究所 / 97 / There are no SCADA system installed in shipyards around the world due to considerations of old building ages and cost and consequently, real-time measurements for the shipyard power system are not available. On the other hand, many shipyards have started to do expansion plans, that various types of field devices are used to increase production output or shorten ship building time; meanwhile, wharfs for shore power connection have also been built in the shipyard for new ship building requirement. The availability of measurements for all buses in the shipyard power system is a problem when these additional devices are considered in the expansion planning of the system. This thesis aims to build a set of load estimation model for the shipyard without any measurements. The model is developed using two stages to reflect true system operating condition for system expansion planning purpose. A practical large-scale shipyard power system is used for the study. Test results obtained from different system expansion scenarios with different types of additional devices are reported and compared. Study results can provide engineers useful information in planning similar systems.
