Abstract
The purpose of this research is to compare the vocational values of college administrators between Taiwan and China. In order to reach the goal、this research compared the vocational values of college administrators between Beijing and Kaohsiung.
This research adopts questionnaire survey、samples were drawn from Beijing and Kaohsiung. This questionnaire contains 30 questions based on six aspects which include gender、age、position、salary、seniority and the level of education. 692 effective questionnaires、including 341 effective questionnaires in Beijing and 351 effective questionnaires in Kaohsiung. Going through SPSS descriptive statistics、t-test and one-way ANOVA、26 questions which are in 0.5 high standard of value. By analyzing the five factors 「 self-realization、financial protection、quality of life、work development and work environment」 here are the results of research discovered:
1. Generally、vocational values of college administrators between Taiwan and China depend on 「financial protection.」
2. There are no significance differences in whole vocational values in different genders of college administrators between Taiwan and China.
3. The whole vocational values of college administrators from the ages of 21 to 30 between Taiwan and China are the most positive、while the most negative ones are more than 50 of age. Moreover、there is significance difference in financial protection between different age ranges.
4. Executive administrators pay the most attention to the whole vocational values.
5. The college administrators between Taiwan and China whose seniorities are below 5 years pay the most attention to the whole vocational values、while the ones whose seniorities are over 21 years pay least care about it.
6. The administrators whose level of education is higher than graduated school take the vocational values most seriously、while the education level is under junior college take it least. People from different levels of education have significance differences on self-realization.
7. By comparing the vocational values of the college administrators between Taiwan and China、there is no noticeable difference. It reveals that even if there are some differences in the degree of vocational values、but there is no significance difference in cultivations.

According to the results and conclusions of this research、some suggestions are introduced.
I. Suggestions to the college between Taiwan and China and related organizations are the following:
1. By increasing the salary structure and welfare system、the administrators will take economic guarantee more highly.
2. Building up unimpeded promoted system and nice working environments increases the efficiency of school.
3. Establishing ways to pursue further education raises the knowledge and abilities of administrators.
4. Establishing policy strengthens the rationality of salary and welfare system.
II. Suggestions to the following researches:
1. By paying more attention on cross-straits salary structure and price level、so we can be more precisely obtaining the degree of influence on the salary toward cross-straits vocational values.
2. By comparing other metropolises or city country margin、we can get more information of universities and colleges administrative personnel between Taiwan and China.
3. Following researches can use qualitative interviews to understand more about the situation of the nation and compare with the results of the quantification.
4. This issue should be kept on further researching and discussing in the future by different quantitative analysis.
