The study on the working holiday makers’ cross-cultural experience learning motivation and its influence / 海外打工旅遊者跨文化經驗學習動機與其影響之研究

碩士 / 國立高雄師範大學 / 成人教育研究所 / 97 / This research focuses on seven once participated in Work And Travel USA , Working Holiday to New Zealand, and Working Holiday to Australia working holiday makers. Its purposes are understanding the working holiday makers’ motivation, and realizing the overseas working and traveling process Cross-Cultural learning experience and the influence. This study uses the qualitative research method, by the depth interview to collection working holiday makers’ participation motive and understand the cross-cultural experience learning process. Proposed that the conclusion and suggestion will give the backpackers who participates working and traveling in the overseas in the future and promote the reference for the related department.

This research induces seven conclusions: First, the backpackers who participates working and traveling motive multi-dimensional, but mainly wants to obtain the new life stimulation. Second, working and traveling in the overseas program participation course mainly to divide into the contact news, the fermentation time and moves three stages. Third, the Cross-Culture experience studies the reflection in the language and in the non-language two aspect cultural differences. Fourth, the working holiday makers Cross-Cultural learn widespread, but mainly in the past experienced affects the individual. Fifth, the experience study’s key lies in the full time and the opportunity produces profound perceiving. Sixth, the profound Cross-Cultural experience learn is helpful to individual independent thinking ability. Seventh, the Cross-Culture experience learn not necessarily can have immediate to transform, but can enrich the life choice.
