碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 海洋環境資訊學系 / 97 / The purpose of this study is to discuss the spatial and temporal variations of the chlorophyll-a concentration (Chl-a)、sea surface temperature (SST) and sea surface wind (SSW) in the East China Sea by using the satellite-derived data of Aqua/MODIS and QuikSCAT/SeaWinds during the period from July 2002 to June 2008. It is found that the higher Chl-a is always on the coastal areas. Meanwhile、the highest Chl-a is found in winter and mainly concentrated in the northern area. For the SST、it is always colder along the coastal area than the offshore water. Meanwhile、the winter water is colder with spatial distribution highly related to the bottom topography; the summer water is warmer and nearly spatially homogeneous. For the SSW、it is mainly northeasterly and stronger in winter、but southerly and weaker in summer. From climatologically anomaly of Chl-a、SST、and SSW、it indicates that the Chl-a is correlated with the Southern Oscillation Index (SOI) with a time lag of about 12 months、SST is correlated with the SOI of 9 months lag、and SSW is correlated with SOI of about 4 months lag roughly.
