The Study of Tourist's Travel Satifaction with Longdong Bay Ocean Park in the Northeast Coast of Taiwan. / 台灣東北角龍洞灣海洋公園遊客遊憩滿意度之研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 97 / This research aimed to investigate the variables of the travel motivation、the pre-trip expectation, the experiential satisfaction of the tourists to Longdong Bay Ocean Park(know as “the park” below). Also, the investigations into the variables as mentioned above could provide the authority in the Government with the analyses and suggestions of the present situations as the references on planning and improving the tourist facilities, and the quality of tourist service and drafting the future tourist development strategy.
The findings from the questionnaire investigation are as follows:
1. In terms of the basic information on the tourists at Longdong Bay Ocean Park, the majority are 31-40 years old,live in northern Taiwan,graduated from universities or colleges,are married female,work in service industry,and get around $20,000~$50,000 monthly incomes. In terms of travel character,information resources and travel companies mostly come from recommendations of the relatives or friends;Private vehicle is the major transportation tool;Stay time is mostly 3 hours;The majority of tourists visit the park for the first time.
2. With respect of satisfaction with the park, “Very satisfied” accounts for 12.5%, “Satisfied” for 55.3%,and “Ordinary” for 30.4%. In addition, “Be willing to revisit” accounts for 92.9% and “Be willing to recommend to others” for 92%.
3. The top 3 highest averages comprise “Getting far away from city”, “Enjoying nature”,and “Relaxing mood and alleviating pressure” .
4. Regarding the Pre-trip Expectation, the top 3 highest averages comprise “Lifeguard establishment” , “Safety-related measures”, “Limpid and clean sea water”.
5. Using IPA analysis to probe into Pre-trip expectation and The experiential satisfaction, this research found 6 items,which include “Children-friendly recreational activities”, “The diversity of marine recreational activity”, “Pavement facility and maintenance”,and “The price rationality of food and beverage”, “The price rationality of commodity”, and “The diversity of food and beverage”, need to pay attention to and improve .
