碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 97 / The goal of this study was to investigate the biodiversity and distribution of copepods in I-Lan Bay. Five cruises (CR1449, CR1462, CR1503, CR1530 and CR1566) of zooplankton-net samplings with CTD observation were conducted from Ocean Researcher No.2 during 2007 to 2008. In total, 153 species of copepods belonging to 59 genera and 25 families were identified from a total of 46 sampling nets in this study. The species composition of copepods among 16 nets in this station could be classified into 3 spatial-geographic groups ( I, II, and III) by using cluster analysis. Group I had a high total abundance (2005.49 inds./m3, with contribution of over 1 % to the total copepod abundance) of copepods in coastal estuary area ,but with low Shannon-Wiener species diversity (3.38 ± 0.23) and J' evenness index (0.6 ± 0.04). Conversely, Group III had a lower mean abundance (882.91 inds./m3) of copepods in mixes area ,but with higher species diversity (4.43 ± 0.31) and evenness (0.8 ± 0.05). The species composition of copepods in CR1462, CR1503, CR1530 and CR1566 samplings could also be classified into 4 temporal-seasons groups (Sum., Spr., Win. and Sum.-t.). The high abundance of copepods in Sum.-t (4099.17 ind./m3, with contribution of over 1 % to the total copepod abundance), and the lower abundance of copepods in Win. (the mean abundance was 571.84 ind./m3 ), but the Shannon-Wiener species diversity and J' evenness of Win. ( 4.79±0.30 and 0.86±0.04, respectively) was higher than Spr. (4.42 ± 0.64 and 0.77 ± 0.1 , respectively). The result of ANOSIM analysis showed that the distribution and variation in geographic's and season's groups were significantly different. Eight dominant species were identified by using SIMPER analysis, there were: Calanus sinicus, Oncaea venusta, Paracalanus parvus, Acrocalanus gibber, Canthocalanus pauper, Clausocalanus furcatus, Undinula vulgaris and Temora turbinata.
