In order to promote its harbor competitiveness and to fulfill the needs of the Sixth Naphtha Cracker Construction Projects, the industry park harbor at Mailiao in Yunlin County (Maliao Harbor) has been built twenty appropriated berths already. By coordinating industrial development of emerging areas in the future, it will be built ten public berths for Mailiao harbor furthermore.
The purpose of this thesis is to discuss some factors of the operational efficiency of Tug about the Mailiao Harbor. These factors utilize Likert-type scale to make the questionnaire survey, in order to understand the importance and satisfaction of these efficient factors further.
This research establishes evaluation methods and indicators for service quality on the operational efficiency of Tug. Study focuses on the many aspects such as management, operation, service quality and efficiency. Finally, to draw the concrete conclusion and give the tugs operational managers and related department managers for reference.
