Major international freight transport is via ocean shipping; nevertheless, almost over 50% goods are regarded as Dangerous goods. Since character of dangerous goods includes radioactivity, explosion, inflammable, poison, and corrosive, etc.Each of safe operation of dangerous goods should be strengthen.
The aim of this thesis is to explore the radioactive material in dangerous goods shipping which is in regulation and suggestion of IMO. In addition, it shows the operating procedure of radioactive waste on ocean shipping and regulation of radioactive material in Taiwan.
