Rationalization of work management strategy of ocean deck officers in Taiwan / 工作管理策略合理化之研究-以台灣籍艙面部甲級船員為例

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 運輸與航海科學系 / 97 / Although many researches on job satisfaction have presented good results, few studies focus on the environment-oriented design for deck officers, as a result of which the design of strategies has been considered to be inadequate to meet their needs. This study is to build a detached evaluation procedure, first, by collecting related literatures and deck officers’ opinions as a knowledge base of the seaman work management strategies. The first-order logic is used to resolve the collected data and derive the eight items of knowledge base of work management. Then the eight items are combined with expressing knowledge, which confirms the declarative sentences of presupposition. Second, this study uses the Interpretive Structural Modeling(ISM) to establish a hierarchy structure of factors. Then, the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) is used to obtain the values of detail factors from different groups—groups of captain, chief officer, second officer, and third officer. Lastly, the Rating Method is used to obtain effective utilities of deck officers based on the work management strategy of shipping managers. The findings of this study provide a good selection for work management strategies, enhancing the job satisfaction of ocean deck officers.
