碩士 / 國立雲林科技大學 / 視覺傳達設計系碩士班 / 97 / This monographic study attempts to research the presentations of the typography in the posters which are composed of the Chinese characters, and to induce the types of them. It carries on analyzing the contents of the typeface design, archives, graph, colors and arrangements and soon. The purposes of this study are. 1. to know the types, principles, and importance of the typography. 2. to learn about the historical perspectives, and compositive characteristics of the Chinese characters. 3. to understand the integrant parts and the arrangement principles of poster design. 4. to induce the arrangement principles of typography primarily on postors. 5. to classify the typography manifestation of Chinese character posters and to give them names. 6. to induce “the arrangement principles of typography primarily on posters” by this research to analyze varions projects on Chinese character posters. 7. to expect to discuss the typography performances and by means of them to promote typography in design related and design educational fields application. 8. to expect to analyze the characteristic of typography in each kind of posters, and provide references of suggestion to be engaged in the design education and the specialized practice.
Because of the related discussion to this research, we induce the research sign of this study the arrangement principles of typography primarily on posters, and the Chinese character posters primarily for collection scope. Classifying and naming the typography manifestation with KJ method, we select the representative samples in each kind of posters with the focal point group, altogether seven kinds of 70 posters to carry on the text analysis by “the arrangement principles of typography primarily on posters. ”By means of the result of this research, we discover that, in typography aspect, it is necessary to have good nature of reorganization in reading. The shape can be made with a new sense of beauty to own a unigue combination of creative style of the author. The culture which practices into the performance can increase its cultural color. In archives aspect, it is better to use the same typeface with typography of overall design styles which matches case typeface to achieve the integrity. The archives may use the subject title or explain the narration subject contents by six within sentences to achieve succinct power and conform to the subject spirit transmission. In graph aspect, in addition to mainly graphics performance, we are able to use more complex or more special effects for the performance. Besides, in order to achieve the highlight mainly graphics performance type, the rest should be used better in the simple lines, the geometry shapes or the images and so on , so that we can display the succinct visual effects and avoid numerous and diverse .But the usage of the graph should be related with the subject better so as to achieve the purpose of correct transmission .In color aspect, we use the contrast color to build the intensive visual effect ,or use a similar hue to perform subject in a ideal condition.
Using the color image and the color psychology to build at mosphere is the most colorful effects which we use most of ten. And we must also be able to conform the subject to match colors so that we may avoid the complexity of visual effects. In arrangement aspect, we may utilize the different arrangement ways, but we need to let the typography position be kept in the focal point so that we may pay attention in the vision to improve the focus of significant, and we can also cause the visual browsing generatrix to be smooth. The special arrangement ways can also make the intensive visual impulse, and strengthen the performance of typography.
