The Disaster Analysis of Permanent Floodgate in Shield Tunnel - Based on Kaohsiung MRT O4 Station / 潛盾隧道永久性防水隔艙閘門災害危害分析-以高雄捷運O4車站為例

Given examples of mother nature or human error disasters such as the 921 earthquake, Typhoon Nari in Taipei MRT subway and South Korea's Daegu MRT collisions, the prevention and systematic risk analysis or floodgate performance for unpredictable influx of a large amount of water, by setting up has become an important issue to prevent the spread of water throughout the whole railway. A permanent floodgate in the east of MRT O4 Station, the floodgate system’s risk analysis is very important.
The motivation of current research includes three parts. The first part is to conduct a questionnaire survey to the relevant personnel of O4 station’s floodgate system, and investigate the overall system performance. The second part is to assess the risk of related components in O4 station’s floodgate system by the risk assessment method, and estimate the risky order of the components of floodgate system. At last, the final part is to obtain the corresponding weight of the order by making the related subsystems of floodgate system and subsystem component’s risk assessment by AHP.
After examining and analyzing overall surveys, the recommended conclusions of current study are summarized as follows : (a) The major impacts on system risk are the electrical system and the natural disasters such as earthquake. (b)Use the risk matrix method, the top ten of risk’s grade are the earthquake, emergency power, fire, high (low) the location of the water level detection device, CCTV surveillance system, flood, communication equipment, related emergency equipment, hydraulic pump, instrument board. (c)The order of subsystem’s impact on the risk of floodgate system are communication equipment, high (low) the location of the water level detection device, manual control pump, chock beam cylinder, guide frame, relay timer, earthquake.
