碩士 / 國立中正大學 / 電機工程所 / 98 / Lightning striking is one of the main reasons for the malfunction of wind turbine. The installment location of wind turbine is related to the thunder storm closely. Every part of wind turbine is almost the attachment point of striking by the direct lightning such as the blade, nacelle, and tower. When any part of wind turbine is attacked by lightning strike, the process that lightning current flows from attachment to the ground would generate induced voltage and current in the internal loop of wind turbine and equipments that destroy the components. This paper estimates the probability that the off-shore wind farm may be attacked by lightning striking and analyzes the transient phenomena of the control loop when the lightning strikes wind turbine. In the end, we also propose the improvement method of lightning probability and lightning surge to enhance the reliability of system and the ability of withstanding surge.
