Studies on the preparation and controlled release properties of sodium alginate microcapsules containing Lavender oil / 海藻酸鈉包覆薰衣草精油微膠囊的製備及其制放性之研究

碩士 / 嘉南藥理科技大學 / 化妝品科技研究所 / 98 / This research was by microencapsulation to prepare gel beads in order to reach controlled release properties of essential oil. In the article, utilizing polyelectrolyte complex reaction to form 3-dimension network structure. Sodium alginate microcapsules were prepared with calcium chloride by ionic crosslinking. The parameters included amount of calcium chloride, sodium alginate, Tween85 and essential oil were investigated, for discussing the weight average particle size, encapsulation efficiency, loading capacity and release properties of the microcapsules. The results indicated that the release profiles were fitted very well by the T. Higuchi release model in the 80% alcohol solution. Meanwhile, the releasing mechanism of encapsulated lavender oil which was placed in the TGA was according with the zero order kinetics completely matched.
