The study of mollusca community at different artificial jetty in Cingcaolun, Tainan / 台南青草崙兩種人工海堤之軟體動物群聚時空變化之研究

碩士 / 高雄醫學大學 / 生物醫學暨環境生物學研究所 / 98 / In the marine ecosystem, the mollusca in intertidal is one of the important parts, and they often live in a particular habitat. The mollusca is sensitive to physical and chemical factors, so they are often used to be the bio-environmental indicators. In November 2007, there was a new type eco-artificial jetty set in Cingcaolun, Tainan. For compare the biodiversity between artificial jetty and eco-artificial jetty, we surveyed the intertidal mollusca communities monthly from March 2008 to October 2009 at eight sampling sites. At first, mollusca community were similarly between eco-artificial jetty and low tidal artificial jetty. But during the period of study, eco-artificial jetty structural uplifted by storm surge, and the microhabitat compositions became more complex. As the result, there were new recorded species appeared at high tidal of the eco-artificial, but the biodiversity of low tidal reduce because of the intense substrate disturbed. In summary, the richness, evenness and diversity of artificial jetty were significant higher than eco-artificial jetty. The result showed that the stability of eco-artificial is an important factor of mollusca community. This study could be applied in sea shore habitat restoration.
