FPGA Control System of Sails on Ships / 船舶架設風帆之FPGA自動控制系統及實測研究

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 系統及船舶機電工程學系碩博士班 / 98 / The article explores the effects of installing the sails on the ships. The automatic control system includes the CompactRIO automatic controller of National instrument company (NI), the embedded operation control modules, and the signal input and output retrieve modules. The analog signals of the wind manometer and the GPS are retrieved; then the best angle of the sails is operated by the FPGA module. The module inputs the calculated analog signals to the motor controls the azimuth of the main mast of the sail. The above-mentioned instruments which are supervised and controlled by the LabVIEW interface. The related softwares and hardwares are integrated to a set of sailing automatic control system.
Finally, the research executes a series of tests on the sea. The results demonstrate the availability and stability of the automatic control system.
