碩士 / 國防大學管理學院 / 資源管理及決策研究所 / 98 / During the last decay, military operations are shifting from platform-centric to network-centric. The scope of operational effectiveness analysis is extended from stand-along platform to entire mission network.
This research adopts an ASW (anti-submarine warfare) scenario, including ASW helicopter, frigates, hunting submarine and communication relays. The analyzing methodology integrates information entropy, graph theory, search and detection theory, and integer-linear programming to optimize the helicopter payload which maximizes the hunting and killing probability of the mission.
Based on the results from sensitivity analysis, the mission success is highly dependent on the distance for the helicopter flying to the hunting area. Also, the networking structure plays crucial role on the mission completion, due to the time-lag in forwarding information.
This study is a preliminary analysis, some factors and parameters are on account of assumptions; detailed and empirical studies are required in the future to enhance the realism of the methodology.
