A Study on The Relationships among Recreation Involvement, Place Dependence, Place Identity, and Environmentally Responsible Behavior:A Case of SCUBA Activity / 遊憩涉入、場所依賴、場所認同與環境責任行為關係之研究:以水肺潛水活動為例

碩士 / 南華大學 / 旅遊事業管理學系碩士班 / 98 / The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among recreation involvement, place dependence, place identity and environmentally responsible behavior as well as clarify the mediating effects of place dependence and place identity in their relationships. A total of 401 valid questionnaires were collected from a sample of SCUBA divers in Taiwan. The results show that recreation involvement has positive effect on place dependence, place identity and environmentally responsible behavior. In turn, place dependence has positive effect on place identity. Lastly place dependence and place identity has positive effect on environmentally responsible behavior. Moreover, place dependence and place identity, as an intermediate variable, has a significant influence on the relationship between recreation involvement and environmentally responsible behavior.
