碩士 / 國立高雄第一科技大學 / 應用日語所 / 98 / Since Taiwan has joined World Trade Organization (WTO) and Asia-Pacific Economic cooperation (APEC), Taiwan Customs as the guard of national gateway plays a leading role in international customs cooperation.Hence, customs officers have more contacts with foreign partners in international activities. Accordingly, it is necessary for them to have fully acknowledgment of practices and excellent languages ability.
Japan has similar cultural background as Taiwan. The distance between the two countries is short; therefore Taiwan and Japan maintain close contacts. For the reason, how to cultivate customs officers’ Japanese talent is an important consideration to the authority.
