碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 98 / The purpose of this study is using Mike21 numerical model to simulate the coastal evolution near Masu estuary. The numerical model consists of hydrodynamic module(HD), nearshore spectral wind-wave module(NSW), sediment transport module(ST). To consider the effect of wind, wave, current and tide cause the sediment transport and variation of coastline. The governing equations of hydrodynamic model are continuity equation and momentum equations.By using ADI Finite Difference method calculates velocities, flow directions and water level variation on the simulation region. Nearshore spectral wind-wave module is based on wave spectral density equations.By using Euler Finite Difference method calculates wave height, wave period, wave radiation stress and wave field to the other features. Sediment Transport module is based on sand drift sediment continuity equation and pure advection equation.By using Lax-wendroff method simulates the regional transmission patterns and the amount of sand drift.
By the results of the numerical modeling, the most of sand on the submerged reef successive transmission is disconnected by established breakwater of Masu fishing port. Suggestion building the jetty cut off continuity of sand transport. The jetty will prevent the sediment accumulation of the Masu river mouth.
