Numerical Simulations of Harbor Tranquility with Double Opening / 雙開口港池波動之數值分析研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 98 / In this study, the numerical harbor oscillation model with infinite element by Chen(1990) was extended to take into account the reality of the harbor with double opening. The investigation of wave conditions around a double opening harbor was conventionally treated as single opening harbor with the assumption of wave energy intruding from one opening will dissipate at some distance to the other opening, and the simulations were done by dividing the harbor into two parts with a pseudo boundary of fully wave absorber. The results show that double opening model can suitable reflect the interaction of two openings. Linear superposition of numerical results of using the single opening model to simulate the entire harbor by alternately keeping only one opening and closing the rare opening with fully absorbing boundary condition may obtain the similar tendency but higher value of double opening model. Such way of simulation, however, may be fully simulated the property of harbor oscillation inside a double opening harbor. For comparison, wave conditions inside the Keelung Port were simulated either by single opening model with closing the Ba-Tzu-Men opening, and by double opening model. The results proof the concern about the property of harbor oscillation.
