博士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 海洋生物研究所 / 98 / Shrimps of Genus Plesionika Bate, 1888 constitute a diverse group of Pandalidae. People have different suggestion on intermediate characters, and how to treat Plesionika shrimps as a single, big genus, or several different genera. In this studying, the phylogeny of Plesionika shrimps were investigated using mt-DNA sequences data, include CO1, 16S rRNA and 12S rRNA. In conclusion, we provided some suggestion as follow: 1. P. rostricrescentis group should move out of Genus Plesionika, and resume to Genus Nothocaris. The shrimps with different 2nd pereopods, ex: P. exiguus, P. grahami, P. unidens etc, should also move out from Plesionika, but not always belong to Nothocaris. 2. Pandalus and Pandalopsis presented as a paraphyletic group, and close to Nothocaris. 3. P. laevis group should move out from Plesionika, and belong to Heterocarpus, upper rostral teeth extend to 1/2 carapace length will be an important autapomorphy in this group. 4. We not suggested Calipandalus as an independent genus, it also close to P. fimbriata. 5. We also not suggested Parapandalus as an independent genus. 6. Stylopandalus should move out from Family Pandalidae to set up a new family. 7. The P. aff. nesis found in Taiwan and P. aff. albocrista found in New Caledonia were supposed to publish as new species.
