碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 教育研究所 / 98 / Abstract
The main purpose of this research paper is to look into the relations among Taipei County primary school teachers and Marine Education knowledge source, Marine Education policy perception, and promoting Marine Education attitude. “The Questionnaire of Taipei County primary school teachers’ Marine Education policy perception and attitude” , self-compiled by the writer of the research , is utilized as a tool. The subjects of the research are primary school teachers in Taipei County. A total of 500 surveys are distributed and 445 of them are collected, with a collecting rate of 89 percent. After the invalid surveys are excluded, 435 valid surveys remain, with a validity rate of 87 percent.
The data obtained through the survey is analyzed with the following statistics method, including independent sample examination, single-factor variation coefficient analysis, and Scheffe’s method. The following findings could be concluded from the results of the data analysis.
First, the major source of the Taipei County primary school teachers’ Marine Education knowledge is from “teacher seminars”.
Second, teachers from schools with different attributes show a little difference in their feelings of “Marine Education policy and perception and promoting Marine Education attitude. But in Scheffe’s method, the variation groups still could not be established.
Third, teachers from Ocean Schools demonstrate considerable difference in performance than their counterparts from non-Ocean Schools in “Marine Education execution project”, “Marine Education capability index” and “promoting Marine Education attitude”.
Fourth, there is no significant difference in feelings between teachers of different genders on “Marine Education Whitebook, Marine Education execution project, and promoting Marine Education attitude”. Significant difference is only shown in Marine Education capability index, with female teachers averaging lower than male teachers, which means the perception of female teachers on Marine Education capability index is better than that of male teachers.
Fifth, the senior teachers, as well as those teachers who are directors in the meantime, are more perceptive to Marine Education.
