碩士 / 國立臺灣海洋大學 / 環境生物與漁業科學學系 / 98 / Taking Jinshan township as an example, the study explores the motivations, attention given before trip, and experience satisfaction of tourists to coastal towns, and further provides suggestions for relevant authorities as reference for planning, developing, marketing and promoting quality of tourism service.
The results of the study reveal that:
1.The features of the tourists include: young people below 40, living in the North, college graduate, unmarried, male, serving in industry, commerce, and service, without fixed salaries; tourism information chiefly comes from revisiting and introduction from relatives and friends, with travel partners consisting mostly of friends, colleagues, classmates and family or relatives; the main means of transportation is self drive, and most tourists stay for 2~4 hours; most tourists go specially for this place, with purposes chiefly for pure sightseeing, and most of them have been here for more than 5 times.
2.As to the motivations of tourism, analysis reveals that there are such four aspects as Recreation, Social Intercourse, Culture and Food&Drink, with Reacreation as the strongest and Food&Drink the weakest.
3.As to the factors of attention given before trip and experience satisfaction, there are six aspects as Transportation Convenience, Public Facilities, Natural Landscape, Cultural Landscape, Recreational Functions and Consumption, where Natural Landscape ranks top in tourists’ attention given before trip, and Consumption the bottom; Tourists are most satisfied with Recreational Functions, and dissatisfied with Consumption.
4.There is clear positive correlation between tourists’ motivations, attention given before trip, and experience satisfaction when visiting Jinshan Township of Taipei County.
5.The exploration of tourist’ attention given before trip and experience satisfaction via IPA reveals that the following items need to be improved first: number and convenience of parking lots, numbers and convenience of washrooms inside the sight spots, security of the sight spots, cleanness of harbor environment, harbor pavement design, harbor traffic flow design, and harbor forestation.
