碩士 / 國立臺東大學 / 身心整合與運動休閒管理學系 / 98 / The current study aims to investigate the correlation between tourist satisfaction and needs of recreational facilities at seacoast national scenic region in Siaoyeliou, Taitung. A total of 398 valid questionnaires were collected using convenient sampling.
This study focused on three areas: 1. investigate the current usage of recreational facilities at east coast national scenic region, 2. investigate tourist needs of recreational facilities at east coast national scenic region, and 3. investigate the correlation between tourist needs and satisfaction of recreational facilities at east coast national scenic region. SPSS was employed to analyze the results obtained, and results showed that tourist have higher needs for accommodation facilities.
The results analyzed indicate: 1. the need to increase accommodation related facilities, 2. positive correlation of facility needs and satisfaction was found between public facilities and recreational facilities, 3. for tourists that have visited Siouyeliou more than three times, there was an increase in satisfaction..
According to the results, future suggestions for the administration department of Siouyeliou are 1. increase the quality and quantity of camping area in accommodation facility, for example, public toilets should be designed ergonomically, 2. in terms of recreational facilities like scenic pathways, the flow of the pathways can be readjusted, and the durability and consistency of the pathway material should be considered, 3. for public facilities, more trees should be planted in the parking area, tall trees that provides shading are more desirable, and the durability and consistency of the parking area material should be considered.
