The Analysis of Patent Behavior in Mainland China Coast / 中國沿海地區專利行為之探討

碩士 / 世新大學 / 財務金融學研究所(含碩專班) / 98 / From 1996 to 2007, the top 10 cumulative amount of patent applications cities in the mainland China are Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Shanghai, Beijing, Liaoning, Sichuan, Hubei, Hunan. In this period, the accumulated amounts of patent for the 10 urban cities are 120,000 to 770,000, accounting for nearly 70% in the total amount of patent applications in the mainland China.

From the absolute number of applications of spatial distribution, the number of provinces and regions of the patent distribution is not so balance, there are obvious different between regions, generally shows a decrease from the eastern to the western ladder-shaped distribution, it is similar to the mainland Chiina economic development.

From the figures you can see the spatial distribution of the patent number of patent applications in the mainland China coast the characteristics of the top ten cities in addition to Hubei, Hunan, Sichuan, the rest are located in coast areas; the number of applications for the last 10 provinces the application amount are less than 10%, these provinces are located in the western region.

This study analysis of innovation in China, we find the innovation of coast provinces affected by the export , population, education, GDP and per capita GDP of the impact, the study found, affecting coastal innovative patented behavior factors: Export value of education level showed a significant and positive correlation means that higher export value and level of education and municipalities, the impact of the higher proportion of patents in innovation. Population, GDP and per capita GDP test results showed that its value is not significant, there is no significant relationship.
