The analysis of traveler's experiences on cruise in the Blue Highway-An Example of Great River Queen / 藍色公路觀光遊樂船舶之遊客體驗分析-以皇后號為例

碩士 / 世新大學 / 觀光學研究所(含碩專班) / 98 / This study attempts to explore the relevance between tourist’s participation in cruise ship activity and “Recreation Environment Quality Awareness”, “Satisfaction”, and “Willingness to Travel Again”. The external “Recreation Environment Quality Awareness” (excluding the recreation environment inside the cruise ship “Great River Queen”) aspect consists of 5 factors: “facility signs”, “green spaces”, “space art”, “waters cleanness”, and “ecology landscape”. The internal “Recreation Environment Quality Awareness” (the recreation environment inside the cruise ship “Queen”) aspect consists of 6 factors: “voyage guide”, “restaurant equipment”, and “outlook of the space”. The “Recreation Experience” aspect consists of 6 factors: “free and easy”, “fun and fulfilling”, “physical skill”, “relations”, “negative emotions”, and “attempt”. The “Satisfaction” aspect includes “overall nature environment quality”, “overall service activity quality”, “overall hardware facility quality”, and “overall recreation experience quality”. The “Willing to Travel Again” aspect includes “visit the place again”, “invite other people to visit the place together”, “recommend the place to other people”, “take the ship once again”, “invite other people to take the ship together”, and “recommend other people to take the ship.” The method of this study is on the spot investigation including the cruise ship “Great River Queen”、“Guandu Boat Wharf” and “Fishermen’s Wharf”. A total of 316 questionnaire samples were collected.
We can find conclusions by this study. Cruise tourist’s participation differs significantly on recreation environment quality awareness:“green spaces” and “waters cleanness”. Moreover all of cruise tourist’s participation awareness is higher than no participating. Cruise tourist’s participation in cruise ship activity differs significantly on recreation environment experience:“free and easy”, “physical skill”, and “relations”. Moreover all of cruise tourist’s participation awareness is lower than no participating. Different tourist social and economic properties differ significantly on recreation environment quality awareness:“waters cleanness”, “facility signs”, “space art”, and “ecology landscape”. Different tourist social and economic properties differ significantly on recreation experience:“free and easy”, “fun and fulfilling”, “physical skill”, “relations”, “negative emotions”, and “attempt”. Tourists with recreation experience differs significantly on satisfaction. Tourists’ satisfaction differs significantly on their willingness to travel again.
We can find suggestion by this study. To design a warm, romantic and sweet voyage for young and single Taipei women. To value tourists of lower social and economic properties. Because they have more attention on “recreation environment quality” and “recreation experience”. To continue improving “waters cleanness” and on-shore “green spaces” facilities of Danshui River “recreation environment quality” to let travelers on the Queen cruise ship enjoy themselves more. To emphasize a “free and easy” recreation environment by adding some “physical skills” to increase “relations” with family and friends and thereby satisfaction. To increase tourists’ willing to visit again by focusing on “overall nature environment quality” and “overall service activity quality’. Specially cruise tourist’s participation differs will not effect their satisfaction and willingness to travel again. So we suggest Great River Queen to promote each equipment and service activity quality again. In order to raise the tourist’s satisfaction and their willingness to travel again.
