The Study of Product Images and Form Perferencs for Navigation System / 衛星導航產品意象與造形偏好之研究

But the industrial experience indicates that there are many cases showing the product, technology or service, even well developed or planned, does not meet consumer expectation and fails in the market acceptance. Therefore it is worth a thorough investigation to see whether there is methodology flaw in the collective wisdom in the development of the product, technology, or service. This study is to investigate the consumer preference in product image and form of GPS satellite navigation system, and to construct a product design model to satisfy the consumer demand. The study induces 9 image words and screens 24 sample products. The relationship between the image words and consumer recognition of a particular product is well understood from the result of semantic differential and factor analysis. In addition, the analysis results for product form preference could create the better product form to meet consumer demands.
