碩士 / 大同大學 / 資訊經營學系(所) / 98 / In this thesis, we realize a service-oriented architecture (SOA) solution for the cargo tracking system of freight forwarder to ensure service reuse and to reduce application development and maintenance cost. By adopting the method of service-oriented modeling and architecture (SOMA) we conduct step-by-step service-oriented analysis and design against a freight forwarder’s cargo tracking system to identify related Web services with requirements analysis, service identification, service specification and service realization. This study also develops SOA layers of the freight forwarder’s cargo tracking system of our case company, which is also used to validate the feasibility of service-oriented design. The results show that SOA solution can actually increase the agility between business and application as well as promote the integration ability via the reusability of information assets thus reducing the integration time.
