Toxic effects of bisphenol A (BPA) at different life stage on zebrafish (danio renio) / 雙酚A對斑馬魚各生長階段之毒性影響

碩士 / 雲林科技大學 / 防災與環境工程研究所 / 98 / BPA used to as a plasticizers in plastical products, it can make the products with light and unbreakable, like food packaging materials and baby bottles, etc. BPA is an endocrine disruptor, exposure for long time may affect the reproductive of the next generation.
Zebrafish is a common tropical fish, there has the advantages by short generation cycle, egg shell is transparent and high fertility. The juvenile will be have reproductive after 120 days, they can make the zebrafish is widely used on toxicology study. Therefore, this research chose the zebrafish as a model organism.
According to the pre-test that 24-hour LC50 in zebra fish is 7.0-10.0 mg/L. The high concentration group of fish, their eggs have been destroyed the membrane and lead to the embryonic had to dead. After hatching period, the low concentration group will led to abnormal growth of juvenile. The males and females exposed to BPA concentration (100μg / L and 500μg / L), the males (157.1 μg/L) of the average cumulative content has more than females (52.7μg / g) during the exposure period. Females are quickly drain the content of bisphenol A after into the clear water. After 30 days exposure the males (500μg / L) are still had content 13.3μg / L. Concentration of 100μg / L for male exposure group can’t make the female lay eggs successful, there is a downward trend on fertility in female exposure group. During the exposure period, all of group had significantly increased on oxygen consumption, it will gradually resume after into the clean water. From the histopathology, the gill tissue has damaged. The AST values rising after the male into the clear water, Females values decreased after entering the clean water. The ALT value of male group is abnormal when into the clear water. With the histopathology, it showed that had inflammation in the period of exposure.
The males had exposure BPA are protect themselves more slowly than females, it will make them physiological function getting normal, reducing their fertity.
