Overseas Career Management and Job Performance / 企業海外派駐人員之生涯管理與工作績效檢討

碩士 / 元智大學 / 資訊管理學系 / 98 / In recent years, major changes besieged the world''s economy, i.e. overall world economic recession, huge national debts, even intensified the competition among enterprises. Hence, the corporations need to be able to create their own competitive advantages; one of most important issues is how to use of foreign manpower, to maintain the operations of overseas enterprises.
Today multinational organizations have reached beyond a certain scale level. Besides, their structure functions also possess a high degree of specialization. In order to be able to effectively use of expatriates, businesses should offer assistance for them in many ways, especially, providing them the proper career management. Finally, it is important to have a right mindset for the overseas business and expatriates.
This study focuses on overseas business presence to explore the career management of expatriates and job satisfaction, and its relationship with job performance. The data obtained from issuing questionnaires in paper and by internet, a total of 150 questionnaires sent and returned 123 valid questionnaires. SPSS statistical software is employed as a statistical analysis tools, run the following items according to the data for samples: reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, T test analysis, single factor analysis of variance and Pearson correlation analysis Methods. In order to understand about career management, job satisfaction, job performance relationship between the variables.

The main research results of the analysis, such as the following:
1.Expatriates with career management have higher job satisfaction
2.Expatriates with career management have higher job performance

This research ends with big findings: in addition to understanding the life of expatriates and job performance, the relationship between job satisfaction and can provide effective recommendations to enterprises so that enterprises can understand the importance of career management system, also to enhance corporate presence overseas job performance and job satisfaction.
