A Case Study on the Shanghai International Finance Center / 國際金融中心之研究:以上海為例

碩士 / 元智大學 / 管理研究所 / 98 / A procedure is to study why China could have average 8 percent economy growth rate even in 2008 when all the countries suffered from serious financial crisis in Asia. From 1992, China government was already planning Shanghai to be one of the biggest finance centers in the world. Also by the help of holding world EXPO and their superior location and strength, China is taking Shanghai to the top of the world finance center.
This research is to study how China government structure Shanghai as an international finance center. Take their strong economy as back up; analyze their strengths and weaknesses under current worldwide situation. Concluded as follow,
1.Planning Shipping Center and financial center simultaneously could help the process of achieving economy scale.
2.Building the hardware and software for Shanghai EXPO could accelerate the speed of forming international finance center.
3.Internationalizing RMB and revolution of the finance market is the way to the success.
