Submarine Grid Planning and System Impact Analysis for Offshore Wind Generation System / 離岸風力發電系統之海底電網規劃與系統衝擊分析

碩士 / 國立中正大學 / 電機工程研究所 / 99 / The offshore wind farms have become more important renewable energy resources since last decade and it is more difficult to find ideal wind sites on land and onshore in Taiwan. The issues of offshore wind farm transmission and operation include study of the wind turbine technology, low voltage ride through (LVRT) capability and the voltage stability problem. In this study, we first focus on the ampacity and equivalent impedance of the offshore submarine cable of different structure, including single-core and three-core submarine cable. Second, we focus on the evaluation of voltage stability of power grid with and without Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) at the point of common coupling (PCC) due to the effect of strong or weak grid. The voltage stability is the relationship between STATCOM capacity and grid codes which recovers limitations against the strong and weak of power grid also studied. Finally, we focus on the protection strategy of doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) converter and evaluate the LVRT capability with and without STATCOM.
