碩士 / 中華大學 / 運輸科技與物流管理學系碩士班 / 99 / This article mainly discusses the degree of concern about implementation of traffic safety education for elementary school in the coastal area of Taichung. Four aspects are discussed within this article, including the importance of traffic safety education, the current educational state, the opinion of giving support and assistance for the school, the experience of using the manual. The purpose of this article is:
1. To Discussion country teacher to traffic safety important view and achievement.
2. To discuss the current educational state of cyberization of traffic safety education.
3. To discuss the identification of establishing some relative items and giving assistance toward the elementary school teacher.
4. To discuss the experience of using the traffic safety manual.
5. To discuss the relationship between the teacher with different background and the degree of concern about traffic safety education.
I hope that it could be a good reference of traffic safety education for the education unit in Taiwan.
This article uses questionnaire survey with stratified random sampling of 57 elementary schools in the coastal area in Taichung, and 26 schools are sampled. The research bases on the background of teacher as variable. There are 372 pieces of questionnaires for the mentor, and 26 pieces of questionnaires for the administrative staff. All the data are processed by SPSS 12.0, and mainly proceeded Relative Frequency Distribution, Percentage, T-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Binary Logistic Regression.
The conclusion of the research is that most of the teachers think it’s very important of traffic safety education, and they also think school plays an important role of traffic safety education. If the school can establish some traffic safety items and support the education, the teacher could pay more attention on it as well. On the other hand, the current state is that the manual should be downloading through the internet instead of sending the manual. It would have impact on the teaching willingness and teaching time for the teacher. According to the questionnaire, the teacher hope the manual can be sent instead of downloading through the internet. Moreover, the amendment of the manual content is also worth discussing. At last, I hope this research could be a good reference of traffic safety education for the education unit.
