In the era of low interest margin, the business of wealth management has almost becomes the target market for all financial institutes. It leads domestic banks environment changes as well as financial professionals. They change their attitude from traditional concepts to customer orientation. Charging fee for wealth management is one of the profit sources in the bank. However, it is not sure whether the fee to be panacea for the bank or not. It caused investors huge losses in financial crisis in 2008. Consequently, many customers complain had happened at the same time. Due to these events, government found out that the low couldn’t regulate financial institutes and their staffs. Moreover, the investors did not have ability to check their investing subjects. The phenomenon leads to the economic slowdown at that time.
Financial supervisory authority should modify law to protect investors’ interest according to the insufficient part of the laws and regulations, such as financial products, promote financial instruments, the content of trustee’s responsibility, conflict of interest avoid, adequacy requirement, and excessive trading prohibition and so on. In addition, the financial institute can against misbehavior staff through internal normative.
The study has five chapters. First of all, it will address the definition of the wealth management and normative in the industry. Secondly, the relative laws are provided in order to make the content of wealth management completely. Next, the researcher will introduce the financial products and their system. And then, the topic of the influence of ECFA and MOU between Taiwan and Mainland China and Taiwan’s advantage will be discussed here. Besides the issue of Twelve-FIVE years plan effects Taiwan will briefly explored later.
