碩士 / 逢甲大學 / 運輸科技與管理學系 / 99 / Freight is one of exporters’ key costs, so important to determine one procurement order been concluded or not often. The two major ways of international trade are air and sea. And it is worthy to study what and how specific factors play in the process of exporters’ logistics strategy, could be utilized by logistic service providers’ to find accurate market segment efficiently and decrease time of marketing action. Thus best logistics solution could be provided to benefit both ends.
The factors affect exporter’s logistic strategy been separated into exporter’s internal and outside groupings. Internal one includes scale, industry, commodity characteristic, goods value and volume. And outside one contains destination, order specific nomination and specific transportation request.
Above mentioned factors been integrated into one questionnaire, filled out by persons in charge of shipping of central Taiwan exporters. Then we apply statistics methods to mine potential rules. In order to strength explanation, in-depth interview also has been put on to clarify the detail of logistics strategy deciding process.
Finally logistics market segments could be determined to have logistic providers’ marketing much more efficient. And exporters’ logistic needs been clarified and served with better service soon. Overall market competition should become up without problem.
