The Effectiveness of Applying the Elements of a Magnet Hospital as a Pilot Retention Policy for Nursing Staffs-in a Local Hospital / 試行磁力醫院要素以留任護理人員措施之成效探討-以國內某醫院為例

碩士 / 逢甲大學 / 經營管理碩士在職專班 / 99 / The purpose of this study is to explore the related factors of magnetic elements of the hospital nursing staff retention measures the relevance and effectiveness. The survey of sectional convenience sample was conducted between February and March 2011 by a regional teaching hospital nurses of a total of 287 valid questionnaires. Researching questionnaire has five dimensions: the personal attributed data, retention measures awareness, the retention measures attitudes, and the satisfaction and retention measures. The collected data were analysed and studied by SPSS 18.0. The consistency of the data is between Cronbach''s ?.904 - .963. The results analyzed the nurses with different personal attributes, knowledge and attitude toward the retention measures in addition to sex and education level, whose various dimensions are significant, the years of service. It has no significant for age, job title, marital status related to retention. However, the measures of married is higher than single regarding satisfaction. In addition, the higher the age, the higher the satisfaction results. According to Pearson product-moment correlation analysis, the measures of magnetic elements remain in knowledge, attitudes, satisfaction and retention measures was related between the positive dimensions and significant correlation. Some conclusions reach at (1) perceived retention policy has significant impact to the satisfaction of retention policy; (2) retention policy attitude has significant impact to the satisfaction of retention policy; (3) retention policy attitude has significant impact to retention intention; (4) retention policy satisfaction has significant impact to the retention intention. The results provide the administrators some references for policy making to seek stability and retention of nursing manpower.
