A study on staff participation in political activities in state-owned enterprise ─Take the staff of Keelung Harbor Bureau for example / 國營事業員工政治參與之研究-以交通部基隆港務局為例

碩士 / 佛光大學 / 公共事務學系 / 99 / The study was conducted based on the questionnaire of political participation for the staff of Keelung Harbor Bureau, with reference to Scale of Political Participation by YIjun Liu, Dingzhong Wang(2005). This survey was conducted from January 15th to January 30th ,2011. 435 questionnaires were issued and 393 valid questionnaires were obtained ( validity 90.3%). The findings analyzed by SPSS are as follows:
1.Nine key variables are found, including sex,age, marriage status, highest degree, current position and work years, party preference, service unit, and voting participation.
2.Senior leaders or supervisors in labor bodies show higher political participation, which might have high correlation to their personal interest.
3.The study finds that the participation in fundraising and political campaigns launched by political parties turns out to be relatively low.
4.The study in question is influenced by 5 variables, including highest degree, current position and work years, party preference, and service unit. It shows that political alienation shown in the study is a little above average compared with previous studies.
