碩士 / 佛光大學 / 未來學系 / 99 / The purpose of this study is to understand the different backgrounds of those outer reef fishers and their motivations of leisure participation and the difference between leisure satisfaction, and to explore the relation to the outer reef fishers’ motivation of leisure participation and satisfaction. In this study, I take Su-ao Township in Yilan County as my study area, and take the outer reef fishers in Nanfang-ao port, Pink Birds Forests port, and Chaoyang port as my study objects. Then by way of a questionnaire to conduct sampling, I prepare for 350 questionnaires and make the analysis among the effective 293 questionnaires in 332 returned questionaires with 39 ineffective questionnaires lack of answers.
Research methods are based on related documents, the questionaire survey, and leisure participation and motivation scale. In addition, satisfaction scale is taken as research tool. I make the statistical analysis with Chinese version of the SPSS computer statistical software. The statistical methods used include descriptive statistics, T test, Scheffé post hoc comparison method, single-factor analysis of variance and Pearson correlation statistical methods.
According to the results of the analysis, I generalize the conclusions as follows:
1. The outer reef fishers get the highest scores in "relieving pressure" in leisure activities participation motivation, and get the lowest scores in "knowledge needs."
2. In point of the overall level of leisure participation motivation, each question reaches 4.520 points on average, higher than the median average by 3 points, which indicates that the outer reef fishers in Su-ao Township in Yilan County have a high motivation of leisure participation.
3. The outer reef fishers get the highest scores in "relaxed satisfaction" in leisure activities participation motivation, and get the lowest scores in "social satisfaction."
4. In point of the overall level of satisfaction with leisure activities, each question reaches 4.483 points on average, higher than the median average by 3 points, which indicates that the outer reef fishers in Su-ao Township in Yilan County have a high satisfaction of leisure participation.
5. The related analysis of motivation of leisure participation and leisure satisfaction show that there is no obvious relation between pressure relieving and physiological satisfaction, and other levels are related.
