Non-linear Waves-induced soil Response around breakwater heads / 非線性波浪作用於堤頭周圍海床土壤變化之研究

碩士 / 康寧大學 / 休閒資源暨綠色產業研究所 / 99 / Some marine structures have been reported to be damaged by seabed instability. It has been well documented that ocean waves propagating over the ocean surface exert dynamic pressure fluctuations on the sea floor. These fluctuations generate an excess pore pressure within the soil skeleton, which have been recognized as a dominant factor in analyzing the seabed instability. Numerous investigations for the wave- induced seabed response, including pore pressure, effective stresses and displacements, have been carried out since the 1970’s. However, all previous models have been limited to either linear wave or the property of poro-elastic soil case, which can only represent part of the whole problem. In this paper, a non-linear wave model will be developed, which is to be integrated into the 3D poro-elastoplastic soil model. Two different types of wave spectra are to be adopted in the new model: B-M Spectrum and JONSWAP Spectrum. The influence of non-linear waves acting on the soil response is investigated by comparing with linear waves through a parametric study. Besides, soil properties, as important factors to affect soil response, will be investigated around breakwater heads.
