碩士 / 康寧大學 / 資產管理與城市規劃研究所 / 99 / The purpose of this study is to realize the status, efficiency and needs of marine education in the junior high schools in Tainan County.
The study applied questionnaire survey, and the teachers in Tainan County are the subjects. There are 205 effective questionnaires from 215 questionnaire samples and the response rate is 95.34%.The results were analyzed statistically by descriptive statistics, t-test, one –way ANOVA and VIKOR.
The results of this study are concluded as follows:
1. The status of the marine education in Tainan County junior high schools.
(1) Only the schools in the remote areas have started the marine education
(2) 58.1% of the teachers have marine education teaching experience. Most of them are from the schools in the remote areas.
2. The needs of marine education in Tainan County junior high schools
(1) Money is required in administrative needs that can promote activities for the tops of marine education.
(2) There are no significant differences on teaching needs.
(3) The top three teaching needs are the same in remote areas and the other areas.
The top three are offering marine education resources websites, offering materials, lesson plans, and media and offering marine related videos.
3.The efficiency of marine education
The schools in Beimen Township are better than the other Townships no matter in student learning, teacher related seminars or on school development.
