There are 60% of the Taiwanese’s essence of flowing blood for culture is Fujian where is across the strait from Taiwan. Businessmen from Taiwan and people in Fujian are easier to communicate each other and integrate into local economy and cultural life due to their similar faces, dialect, customs, and the same ancestors. This is a better way to achieve unification offensive meaning over benefiting Taiwan by strengthen cross-strait economic exchanges and cooperation
The recent official perspective for the industrial structure, strengths & weaknesses, clusters, and the extent of economic development of "Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Straits " which is still facing serious talent problems and affecting the development of high-tech industries. So the "Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Straits" is not the most suitable investment area for Taiwan''s high-tech industry that the induction effect should be limited. This can be discerned that the investment is not significantly increased in this zone but at the Pearl River Delta and Yangtze River Delta by businessmen from Taiwan since the Open investment.
However, the "Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Straits" that has the advantages of market, resources, and policy could attract industries from Taiwan. Different industries have their commercial possibilities, such as automotive and petrifaction industry, the "Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Straits" that still has the possibility of investment cooperation, and also benefits to Taiwan''s industrial development. The strength of preferential policies is certainly the critical influence to achieve such cooperation. Only the "Economic Zone on the West Coast of Taiwan Straits" gets rid of previous thinking and made a significant segmentation from the other provinces by raising advance and preferential measures that the entrepreneurs could be attracted to transfer their investment, and the substantial effect is created.
