碩士 / 國立中興大學 / 高階經理人碩士在職專班 / 99 / The Executive Yuan of Taiwan passed the "Promotion of overseas Taiwan companies listed one-two-three Program" in March 2008 to speed up Taiwan''s capital market liberalization and internationalization and enhance the competitiveness of capital markets. Overseas companies listed on Taiwan are not subject to the provisions of investment quota in China. In addition, the performance of capital market in Taiwan, attracting many foreign companies listed in Taiwan. Enhancing the competitiveness of capital markets is as important as the protection of shareholders'' right. Therefore, this study is summarized the key success factors from overseas listed companies cases. This study is also summarized the major obstacle to the company cannot be listed and provides recommendations for the authority making the policy. In the meanwhile, it is an important reference criterion to promote the overseas company listed in Taiwan.
In this study, the case of overseas companies listed in Taiwan is researched by field study method. This study obtains necessary information from participant observation, analyzed secondary data collection and in-depth interview. According to above reasons, this study analyzed the factors of success and failure for overseas companies listed in Taiwan.
The overall study indicated the main factors of the success for overseas companies listed in Taiwan are that the company has a sound constitution, stable profitability and competitive business model. Furthermore, the secondary factors of the success for overseas companies listed in Taiwan are that the company has a high determination and perseverance, appointing the external agency with reputable and professional quality and full authorizing by director. According to above key factors that the overseas companies can succeed listed in Taiwan.
