Initial Development of Communication and Control for Small Underwater Vehicles / 微小型水下載具通訊控制之先期研製

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 系統及船舶機電工程學系碩博士班 / 99 / At present, the development of various underwater units is mainly controlled by the electromagnetic communications. In this paper, we propose various functionalities that underwater vehicles should have, and utilize acoustics, which is the ideal way for the communication under water, to control vehicles.
Based on the initial development of internal components (motors, batteries, and circuits) to construct the size of underwater vehicles, its size is designed in the 212mm×102mm×78mm, and the CFD software COMSOL Multiphysics is used in incompressible flow to analyze the results of simulation. Therefore, a better shape can be constructed.
Through simulations and experiment, the less resistance of the exterior for underwater vehicles is developed in this research. Finally I used the MDX-540 to the output of the vehicle design prototyping.
In the aspect of the driving force, we can make the use of ultrasound transmission in the limited area of the underwater environment to control three Reversible motors successfully, and the distance of the transmission is more 15 cm.
