Implementof the Robot Fish with Multimedia Technique and Secretary Function / 結合多媒體技術與秘書功能之機器魚實現

碩士 / 國立暨南國際大學 / 電機工程學系 / 99 / In recently years, there are a lot of researches about robot fish focused on imitating live fish. However, the robot fish size, cost, functionality and using environment, to results in the robot fish are not popularity. In this thesis, we design a robot fish which swims in the small aquarium that combines fish movement, multi-media technique and secretary function.
To reduce the size of robot fish to achieve fish in the small environment swimming, the selection of multi-media application hardware devices, space configuration of hardware devices, the design of high-speed multimedia function and behavior of control is very important. According to the above problems, we design a secretary fish which uses the submarine of motion control mode and high speed FPGA chip as the core of the machine to process the signals, such as the DC Motor, CMUcam2, IR-remote, TFT-LCD and the device of multi-media. The Secretary fish can swim autonomously and be controlled by the remote controller in the aquarium. However, in order to reduce the size and the cost of the secretary again, we design the second robot fish named Mermaid which uses the fish tail to achieve the fish moving. The high speed FPGA chip is used as the core of the machine to process all signals.
The proposed robot fish achieves the 3-dimension motion control and multi-media application. The multi-media technique functions include clock-alarm setting, music broadcasting, image displaying, temperature detecting, and wireless transmission function. The users can be informed to do things and to do demo for the users.
