碩士 / 國立交通大學 / 運輸科技與管理學系 / 99 / In general, the study of the purpose of taking public transportation always focus on the time and the cost rather than the mentally reason. After we review of the documentation about the reason which affects the demand of taking public transportation, we research the relationship between privacy preference and the intention of taking publics transportation. This research focus on the mentally factor and the relation between taking public transportation and privacy preference .The study find that the level of private has great effect on the taking public transportation statistically. Accordingly, we recommend that the government and the transportation industry should take such means to protect passenger's private in order to attracting more people to take mass transportation.
